Welcome to GC for Life. This website is operated by 618 Digital, Inc. ("we," "us," or "our"), an Illinois corporation. By using gcforlife.com (the "Site"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

  1. What GC for Life Is

GC for Life is a prayer coordination platform. Its purpose is to help people in and around Granite City, Illinois commit to pray for Life, and to coordinate that effort so that prayer is offered every day of the year. The Site lets registered users claim days, receive reminders, log the prayer they offer, and view shared totals that reflect the community's effort. The Site is a coordination tool only. We do not direct, supervise, or take responsibility for any activity you undertake in person. Any decision to travel to or pray at a physical location is yours alone, and you are responsible for your own safety, conduct, and compliance with all applicable laws.

  1. Eligibility and Accounts

Access to participation features is by invitation from an existing member or by an approved request to join. We reserve the right to approve, deny, suspend, or remove any account at our sole discretion, including to protect the integrity of the effort. You agree to provide accurate information when you register, and to keep your contact information current. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. We use passwordless sign-in (links sent to your email), so you should keep access to your email account secure.

  1. Acceptable Use

You agree that you will not:

  • Use the Site for any unlawful purpose, or to harass, threaten, or harm any person.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, other users' accounts, or our systems.
  • Submit false information, including false prayer logs or sign-ups intended to disrupt the effort.
  • Use the Site to interfere with, obstruct, or coordinate any illegal activity.
  • Copy, scrape, or republish content or user information from the Site without permission.

We ask that all participation be peaceful, prayerful, and lawful. Behavior inconsistent with that purpose may result in removal.

  1. Content You Submit

When you log prayer or add notes, you grant us permission to store that information and to include it in aggregate, anonymized, or first-name-and-last-initial form in public totals and feeds on the Site. We will not publish your full name, email, or contact details publicly. We may, with your separate permission, share a quote or testimony you provide.

  1. Conduct at Physical Locations

GC for Life encourages lawful, peaceful, prayerful presence. We do not organize, supervise, or assume responsibility for what any individual does in person. You are solely responsible for obeying all federal, state, and local laws, including laws governing assembly, trespass, traffic, and access to facilities. We are not liable for any injury, loss, citation, or other consequence arising from your activity at any location.

  1. Intellectual Property

The Site, its design, text, logos, and original content are owned by 618 Digital, Inc. or used with permission, and are protected by applicable law. Prayers and devotional texts drawn from common religious tradition remain in their original public character. You may not reproduce the Site's proprietary content for commercial purposes without our written permission.

  1. Disclaimers

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that reminders or emails will always be delivered on time or at all. You should not rely solely on Site reminders for any time-sensitive matter.

  1. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, 618 Digital, Inc. and its officers, directors, and volunteers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss arising from your use of the Site or your participation in any activity coordinated through it. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site will not exceed one hundred dollars ($100).

  1. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be noted on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

  1. Termination

You may stop using the Site at any time and request that your account be deactivated by emailing us. We may suspend or terminate access at any time, with or without notice, for any reason consistent with these Terms. Aggregate totals reflecting prayer already logged may remain part of the Site's historical record after an account is deactivated.

  1. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Site will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Madison County, Illinois, and you consent to that jurisdiction.
